Here's The Thing...

I'm getting married! We're under the 30 days mark now...

I can't put an exact number on how many hours I've spent on various wedding projects, but I can tell you its a lot. Like A LOT! Good news is I'm the type of person who loves a project... especially a craft project.

My wedding has really been a great opportunity to develop my calligraphy and watercolor lettering style. I've finally nailed down my own "font" if you will :)

The first project I tackled was the wedding invitations. I knew I wanted to have that soft watercolor look, so I started messing around with different blue hues and the layout of how I wanted mine and Trent's name lettered together. After some googling, I managed to digitize my watercolors and design our invitations in Photoshop (big moment of triumph there)!

Then I moved on to alllll things hand lettered - I'm talking placecards, seating charts, bar menus, cake signs, welcome signs, table signs... the list goes on! As much time as it took to get these projects done, I loved every minute. I could set up in my living room, pop on a Netflix show and zone out. It was great!
